Seasons Hospice seeks men and women volunteers to provide non-medical support for patients and families experiencing end-of-life transitions. The Mayo Hospice Program will be holding a Healing Adventures Camp on Saturday, October 25. The camp will be held at the Ironwood Springs Ranch in Stewartville. The event benefits children who have experienced the death of an important person in his or her life. The camp will allow children to meet with others who have had a similar experience. Campers will be assigned to age-appropriate groups and will participate in a variety of activities, including: nature walks, crafts, music, and petting zoo. Mothers of Preschoolers will hold their first meeting of the year on September 25 and continue on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month until January 31. Mothers of Preschoolers is a group designed to help mothers will preschool aged children deal with the challenges of motherhood.
